Sweet senior dog, ‘Billy,’ has been waiting over a month for someone to notice him at busy shelter

A senior dog dubbed Billy has been waiting at a busy California animal control agency for over a month…hoping against hope that someone will stop by his lonely kennel run to say hello. The eight-year-old dog has been at the Carson Animal Services facility since March 3, and to date, nobody has decided that he is worthy of their love and attention.

On Wednesday morning, Saving Carson Shelter Dogs posted a video of Billy, writing:

Sweet little BILLY is short and adorable! He came in as a stray and he needs some help. Billy is ok for public adoption. He is social with other dogs. Calm Dogs Recommended, Middle School
Aged Children and Up Required at this time.

Saving Billy

Billy needs help. Animal control agencies are not set up to keep homeless pets for indefinite periods of time, and when space becomes an issue, Billy may be put down.  You can help this deserving senior dog find a new home by sharing his adoption information.
