Brittney Monk is a 17-year-old girl in Sevier County Tennessee who was a victim of bullying. She loved animals and she loved to draw, and somehow her passions were criticized by her peers and this led to name-calling. Because of that, Brittney got really depressed and her mom decided to get her away from all the bullying and just have her home-schooled.

But what really helped Brittney was her dog Dodge. When Brittney felt depressed and alone, Dodge was there to comfort her.
