Sometimes, just getting out from under the covers and keeping your eyes open for more than two seconds can feel like it requires Olympic-worthy effort. For this poor, little guy, the stairs are more daunting than any high jump. He gives it a brave (well, brave-ish) attempt, but would really rather not bother with them at all. He’s clearly too adorable to ever worry about tackling such evil foes. At least, until he gets too heavy to carry around all the time.

After several Corgi owners connected online, they decided to meet at a southern California beach. When this began back in 2012, a handful of Corgis showed up. Now there are over 600 in attendance. Because they do this a few times a year, chances are good that the event will only get bigger. So much for Corgis being a dying breed! The next gathering will be on July 11th at Huntington Dog Beach. For more information, check out the official Corgi Beach Day Facebook page. To see more of the impossibly cute little shorties on their beach day, check them out on Twitter and Instagram.
