When Rose came to, Ily was nowhere to be found. She had disappeared and Rose was so worried for her beloved companion- especially in the heat. One year old Ily was missing for over two months and Rose was convinced she would not see her again. For the past two months, an army of volunteers looked for Ily. They placed a baited cage in the desert and inside it, a baby monitor so that they could listen for any signs of the missing puppy. Finally after 65 days, Ily wandered over the cage and was finally reunited with Rose. Absolutely amazing! In case you’re all wondering how Ily survived in the desert, it’s because she teamed up with another stray whom the volunteers named Buddy. He is now being cared for and is up for adoption. Rose and Ily are truly grateful to all the volunteers who never gave up on Ily returning to Rose. I guess she is aptly named because Ily stands for I Love You and that is certainly true in this case! Imagine what it would be like if you were the one being chained up outside. You are left there all alone, vulnerable to all the elements–no one deserves a life like that, right? So when this guy saw a dog who was chained outside, he knew he had to do something. The temperature was 120 degrees, and the poor thing was chained in the backyard. He had never seen the dog off the chain, and he hasn’t seen anyone there to play or interact with dog. It seems that this poor dog has spent his entire life outside, never feeling the real love of a family. The guy couldn’t bear leaving the dog like this. So he made his move. The dog didn’t seem friendly at first, but that didn’t stop him. He took the time to be with the dog, talked to him, and then slowly, he tried to reach out. Watch the video below and see how this guy rescued a dog who has been chained up for more than 10 years!
