The little fluffy things just never trust those tricky steps. When this guy tries to coax his tiny cutie down the front steps outside his door, the pup has a better idea. This is especially true for tiny puppies, completely new to this big and often frightening world of ours. It was shih tzu puppies Charlotte and Reece’s first attempt at traversing the stairs all by themselves, and while Charlotte was very brave about it, timid Reece had to be shown a bit of encouragement. Watch who steps in to help the tiny tyke make the epic journey down the stairs.

Sometimes, just getting out from under the covers and keeping your eyes open for more than two seconds can feel like it requires Olympic-worthy effort. For this poor, little guy, the stairs are more daunting than any high jump. He gives it a brave (well, brave-ish) attempt, but would really rather not bother with them at all. He’s clearly too adorable to ever worry about tackling such evil foes. At least, until he gets too heavy to carry around all the time.

As small as they are, the stairs must look really frightening for them. It’s like a mountain they need to climb up and get down safely. Sooner or later, they have to conquer this tall mountain or they will get stuck at the top or at the bottom of it. Now this adorable Dachshund puppy is faced with that problem. The poor thing can’t get down the stairs. He was able to make it all the way up. And now that he’s at the top, the stairs just look too scary when he looks down! No words of inspiration or motivation could push this cutie to take a step. Good thing an older dog was there to his rescue! With the older dog there to guide him, the puppy finally mustered up the courage to take the plunge and face his fears! Aaaw…wasn’t that just adorable!? With his mommy cheering on and giving him motivation, and with the help and guidance of his older buddy, he was able to conquer the stairs! Great job, little puppy!
