Urgent! Nobody showed up to save senior dog who is at risk of being put down

An urgent plea has been issued on behalf of a senior dog who is at risk of being put down at a busy Texas animal control agency. The 10-year-old dog, named Buster, wound up at Harris County Pets after his owner died and his caretaker went to jail.

On April 1, the Urgent Shelter Pets Houston Facebook page wrote:

4/1 No one showed up for Senior Buster today and this poor boy really needs our help TEAM. He desperately needs a foster in order for a rescue group to help him. Please take a chance on Buster by opening your heart and home to him before its too late! A FOSTER CAN SAVE HIM! ❤

My owner died my caretaker went to jail. Who is going to feed me now? Who will want an older dog like me? I have some kind of tumors under my belly. Do you have hope in your heart or is this the end for me? Please say ❝ ❞ if you can help this poor SENIOR!
