A senior dog, said to be a “shelter volunteer favorite,” is facing the end of her life in Houston, Texas. The eight-year-old Staffie mix, named Angel, is on the list of dogs to be euthanized today, January 21. On Monday night, the Facebook page, Houston Animal Shelter Heroes, issued a plea on Angel’s behalf:
! Volunteer favorite Angel is absolutely perfect but will be euthanized Tuesday 1/21 without her hero to save her!
Angel’s Petharbor listing has already been pulled in advance of her untimely demise. Dogs like Angel deserve to live and to be loved. The networking page outlines her long list of adoption-worthy attributes:
This is Angel’s second time on the euth list. She is a rollover from Sunday and won’t get another chance! Per owner, Angel is very friendly has been around kids for 8 years she is also dog friendly, She knows commands: sit , stay , shake, lay down and is also potty trained.
ANGEL is a beautifully senior staffy who was out with a foster but returned for time. We met her today and she is just a pleasant girl who would name a great foster or forever pet. She is everything you want in a dog. Perfect age to be calm, sweet, great temperament and has so many years left to live still!
Time is of the essence for this deserving senior dog. Please network her information and help give her the reprieve that she so desperately needs.
