In Houston, Texas the homeless dog epidemic is out of control. All that can be done is to feed them, make sure they are safe, and try to monitor where they are. But luckily for Mr. Cookie, he got a real second chance. He walked right up to rescuer Alex, and allowed Alex’s loving arms to save his life. Unfortunately, most dogs aren’t like Mr. Cookie and are nearly impossible to catch. I’m so glad at least one dog was able to put his life on the streets behind him for good!
