After owner died, police try to find puppy a new home

Not long ago, a puppy in Tennessee was left homeless after the death of his owner. The six-month-old mixed breed pup, named Leo, was taken to the Montgomery County Animal Care and Control facility where he has been rather lonely.

A bit of help from new friends

Leo is understandably lonesome and confused after the loss of his person, but he recently was given some respite from that loneliness when a new friend came to visit. On Wednesday, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office posted two photos of Leo (with his friend) and a plea for help to find the pup a new family:

Meet Leo. His owner recently passed away and since then he has been experiencing loneliness. His puppy face temporarily lit with joy as Deputy Liberatore visited with him

Hopefully the social media boost will help this sweet pup find someone to mend his broken heart. If you are interested in learning more about Leo,  please reach out to the Montgomery County Animal Care and Control at 931-648-5750.
