Alaskan Malamute Meets Baby Brother For The Very First Time

Welcoming a baby into the family is an exciting time, but it can be extra stressful for those who own dogs. You never know how a pet will react to a new baby brother or sister.

Some dogs are jealous and don’t enjoy having a new baby around, but others step up as guardians and commit to protecting the family’s new bundle of joy.

Teddy the Alaskan Malamute falls into the later category and it was so sweet watching him meet his new little brother!

In a video shared by the popular YouTube channel Life with Malamutes, you can see Teddy being introduced to the tiny baby.

The YouTube channel, which boasts over 860,000 followers, is the official platform for Phil, Niko, Teddy and Milo – 3 giant Alaskan Malamutes also and a Maine coon cat.

While each of the three dogs had the chance to meet the tiny baby, it was Teddy that stole the show.

The video was viewed well over 4 million times and it’s easy to see why. It’s just so sweet!

Teddy’s parents wrote in the video’s description, “Who would have thought we would get this reaction! The size of this dog! its just so pure to see this type of rection from a dog and to understand how loving and caring they can actually be. They understand more than we give them credit.”

They added, “Teddy is an amazing and gentle giant! His ears are always back as a sign of submission, that’s just the way he’s always been.”
