Amy Was Saved Last-Minute from a High-Kill Shelter and Needs a Forever Home
Meet our friend Amy. Amy is a one-year-old terrier mix, who was recently rescued by our friends at Rescue Dogs Rock NYC from a high-kill shelter where she was on death row in southern Texas. She weighs around eleven pounds, and has a sweet and loving personality. She’s on medical hold at the moment, but is almost ready to go home.
Amy was rescued from the same shelter as another dog we’ve featured called Amanda. Amanda was adopted out, and now it’s Amy’s turn. When Amy is officially ready to go to a new home, she’ll be spayed, and will be 100% up-to-date on all shots and immunizations.
As mentioned, Amy is a sweet and loving dog. She’s a terrier, which usually means that we are a “high-energy” dog. However, Amy is just as happy to chill out and do nothing as she is happy to be out and about with her humans. She does well with other dogs, and so far, has been 100% able to be around any human of just about any age. She’s even OK with cats for the most part.
