Beautiful senior shepherd at risk after her owner died


A beautiful, senior German shepherd, nine years of age, is at risk at a busy California animal control agency following the death of her owner. According to the Saving Riverside Shelter Dogs Facebook page, Roxy was “due out” on February 4. Now she is considered to be “code red.” The Facebook page posted:


2/20 update ~ Status RED “ON EUTH LIST”

Status YELLOW “Owner died. Geriatric Dog. Rear limb weakness, r/o hip dysplasia/arthritis, degenerative myelopathy (early stages). Dog has 1″ diameter skin mass on the right hip area–appears to be a large, ruptured sebaceous cyst.”

Saving Roxy
