Nala the very stubborn white Siberian husky tries her best to reclaim “her” spot on the couch. Meet the Sheldon Cooper of Huskies who gets overly excited and extremely furious when she discovers that her owner has stole her place on the couch, and persistently tries to get it back!

In the television show, the Big Bang Theory, there is a scientist named Dr. Sheldon Cooper. In the apartment that he shares with Dr. Leonard Hofstadter, there is a particular seat that is his, and no one else is allowed to sit in it. This seat is ideally located both in relation to the heat source in the winter and a cross breeze in the summer. It also faces the television at a direct angle allowing me to immerse myself in entertainment or game play without being subjected to conversation. Prior to Leonard moving in, Sheldon had positioned a lawn-chair at this particular point and “placed it in a state of eternal dibs”.

Sheldon describes his spot as a “single point of consistency in an ever changing world”. He says that if his life was expressed as a function in a four-dimensional Cartesian coordinate system, this spot, when he first sat on it, would be “0,0,0,0”. That’s Sheldon’s spot and this persistent Husky apparently has her own spot in the household.
