Cute Dog Continues To Wait After Family Surrendered Him

Two days ago, a senior dog described as “afraid of everything,” hit an unfortunate milestone at the New York animal shelter that his family surrendered him to. The Town of Hempstead Animal Shelter commented on Buddy’s sad anniversary, writing:

Yesterday was Buddy’s two year anniversary of being surrendered to the shelter. This guy right here, he is just too cute! Buddy is 10 years young (as of March 2020), and came to us as an owner surrender. Buddy is a sweet boy, who as per his previous owner can be described as playful, affectionate and vocal.

Adding:

They also said he is afraid of everything and can sometimes startle easily. Buddy is a fearful dog, so he will need a patient, experienced, yet loving owner who will help him overcome any fears he may have.

Despite his fear, Buddy is “very sweet” when he meets people who visit the animal shelter. Staff at the facility hope to find a home for Buddy with no other animals, and a patient and loving owner.
