Depressed Dog Is Covered In Pink Scales, Looks Completely Unrecognizable After She’s Rescued

For most of her young life, Reba the street dog was homeless and suffering. When rescuers finally found her wandering the streets of Houston, she was bleeding and terrified.

Reba was taken to the wonderful Vet Ranch in Texas where the caring staff promised to help her heal — though it wasn’t going to be easy.

This poor pup had a score of health issues. She was underweight and covered in fleas, and had secondary skin infections, swollen toes, hair loss, infections on her mouth, open sores, and swollen lymph nodes. Dr. Karri said hers was “one of the worst cases of demodectic mange I’ve seen so far.”

At the 10-day mark, though, the determined pup was already showing signs of improvement. She was then sent to a foster home and is expected to be adopted by the family!

When you see Reba (now renamed Honey Bee), free of the scales and painful infections, you’ll be shocked by her amazing transformation.
