Semper K9 was founded by Christopher Baity and his wife, Amanda. Semper K9, located in Manassas, VA finds dogs facing euthanasia in shelters and trains them to help wounded veterans! Christopher Baity served with the Marines as a dog handler in Iraq. He is now using his military training here at home to help other veterans!

What the dogs are trained to do will depend on the person they are going to help. If a veteran has PTSD, the dog will help them stay calm as they move through the day. Veterans with physical disabilities will have dogs that help them with at least three tasks.
