Heartbroken senior dog – dumped because of new baby in the family
A senior dog, nine years of age, is heartbroken after his family dumped him at a busy California animal control agency. According to the volunteer run Facebook page, Saving Carson Shelter Dogs, this is the second time in three months that the dog, named Opus, has been cast aside by his family.
The senior dog’s story
Saving Carson Shelter Dogs initially wrote:
This will break your heart. OPUS was being left at the shelter because his family has a new baby coming. You can see his heart break with confusion as he tries desperately to get back to his dad and stop what’s happening.
Then, three months later, updated:
URGENT!!!BACK IN THE SHELTER!THE FAMILY GAVE HIM UP AGAIN!! Please SHARE, he needs help NOW!
