Humane Society Rescues 66 Dogs From Horrendous Hoarding Situation

The Humane Society of the United States rescued 66 dogs from a hoarding situation in Ohio with the help of the Gallia County Sheriff’s Office. The dogs have been transported to a temporary emergency animal shelter where they will be examined and given the proper care.

“With the summer heat, and given the unsafe and unsanitary conditions, there was an urgent need to help these animals right away,” said Corey Roscoe, Ohio state director for The HSUS. “We’re grateful to the Gallia County Sheriff’s Office and Dog Warden’s Office for taking action with us to help these animals.”
