One-year-old puppy Max was adopted from Craigslist in December by Terry Hill and his girlfriend after being found homeless after Hurricane Harvey.

The clip, filmed on May 17 in Texas, shows Max getting scared of walking through a partially open door.

Terry says: “He’s been a great dog, but sometimes we question his intelligence.

“His heart is inversely proportional to his brain.”

Max finds it intimidating to go through doors and often finds himself trapped in a room or closet if the door is not open fully.

Finally, after much encouragement and with the bribe of a walk, Max made it through the open door.
