Once Just Days Away From Dying, Gypsy’s Life Has Really Turned Around

Gypsy was a mere 34 pounds when surrendered to the Protective Animal Welfare Society by an owner who said his house foreclosed, and he simply didn’t have time to take care of a dog.

There were many signs of neglect, and Gypsy was days away from dying of starvation. Her organs had begun to shut down.

Gypsy needed special care and nutritious food to bring her back to health. The pet food donated by GreaterGood.org’s Rescue Bank, and some love from her foster mom, literally saved her life. Gypsy now weighs 56 pounds and is beautiful and happy and loving her new forever home.
