The Boston Marathon bombing that happened in 2013 were considered a terrorist attack. The two bombs that went off near the finish line took the lives of two people and injured around 140 others. The country was glued to their televisions to find out more about the bombings, the suspects, and the victims.

The city came together and has bounced back from that terrible day. Kevin Spacey went on to the Ellen DeGeneres show to share the story of how he met his new dog. Spacey had recently visited Boston, and in his talk with Ellen he talks about his connection to Boston – and now he has a dog from there as well.
