He pulls the puppies out of the trash every single day. That’s what Takis, an animal rescuer in Greece does in his efforts to save as many dogs as he can.

As spay and neuter problems are virtually non-existent, many people throw away the puppies, discarding them in the trash or driving them out out of town and dumping them.

That’s where Takis finds them before taking them back to his shelter, which has over 500 dogs. With so many dogs, he goes through a lot of dog food and he’s supported through donations. As for the puppies he rescues he does his best to find them homes.
