Nobody bothered to reclaim this cuddly, senior shepherd

On October 9, a cuddly, friendly German shepherd was taken in at the Los Angeles County Animal Control facility in California…but in the weeks that have passed, nobody has come forward to claim him as their own. The eight-year-old dog, dubbed Estevan, is thin (weighing just 48 pounds) but aside from appearing to need a hearty meal, he seems to be in good shape.

Information about this senior shepherd

On October 20, the Facebook page for Downey Animal Care wrote:

Estevan has a medium energy level, walks very good on leash and is likely housebroken. He has a gentle disposition; is tolerant of the other dogs in his group and we think he will do fine with older children. He seeks attention and affection and we were more than happy to be able to pet and hug him today. Estevan is an incredible indoor pet for a family living in a private residence.
