Rescue Of Adorable Pit Bull Puppies From Under California House Caught On Camera

Video captures the moment a mother pit bull and her litter were rescued from under a house in California.

In the video above, watch as Eldad Hagar, co-founder of animal rescue group Hope for Paws, finds mama dog Sansa and her babies in a Los Angeles neighborhood.

Hagar told HuffPost that the tenants of the house had been “very kind to Sansa,” and “one day she crawled under the house and had given birth to her seven babies.”

In the clip, watch as Hagar wriggles his way under the house to carefully retrieve each of the puppies.

The whole family was soon whisked to safety.

According to Hagar, all the puppies have since been adopted. Sansa, however, is still searching for her forever home.

Older dogs are often the last to be adopted at shelters and the first to be euthanized, but there are plenty of great reasons to adopt them.

“Older dogs are open books — from the start, you’ll know important things like their full-grown size, personality and grooming requirements. All this information makes it easier to pick the right dog and forge that instant love connection that will last a lifetime,” writes the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.

Hagar says there’s another reason why Sansa will make the perfect pet.

“In the past few days, Sansa stayed with me, on my bed, and so I can guarantee that she is one of the best snugglers I have ever met,” he wrote on Facebook Tuesday.
