Rusty Was Surrendered to the Shelter for Unknown Reasons and Needs a New Home

Happy weekend Life With Dogs readers. The weekend is here and we hope everyone enjoys whatever they can of it. We have a special senior LWD Adoptable Dog of the Day, today. He is called Rusty, and he comes to us from the Animal Rescue Volunteers out of the Simi Valley in California. He is a big sweetie, and should really finish out his days with a family who loves him.

Let’s let Animal Rescue Volunteers introduce Rusty:

Rusty was born approx. 2005.  He was surrendered by his owner after 8 years due to unknown reasons. He is a sweet elderly dog that needs a good home to live out the rest of his years.  He walks well on leash with a gentle leader.  No cats, please.

Stop by and meet our pets on SATURDAYS or if you are not able, email to arrange a convenient time to meet the pet.  Adoption events are Saturday from 11 am to 3pm at R & R Pet Lifestyle and Supply at 2780 Tapo Canyon Road, Simi Valley (SE corner of Tapo Canyon and Alamo), except holiday weekends. Please email (staff@arvsimi.org) ahead to make sure a particular pet will be at adoptions.
