Sweet senior shepherd longs for a loving home

A sweet, senior German shepherd is longing for someone to notice her and offer her a home. The eight-year-old dog, dubbed Maddie was found as a stray in La Puente and brought to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on August 24th. Today, a month later, she continues to wait for a home.

Information about Maddie

According to United Hope for Animals, Maddie “is just all-around awesome.” The senior dog seems to have everything that an owner looks for in a dog. United Hope for Animals wrote:

She is affectionate, attentive and gentle. Mattie walks nicely on leash, seems to be housebroken and has a wonderfully well-balanced energy. While out with our volunteers, she was relaxed around other dogs.
