The seven year-old mixed breed is currently a resident at the Humane Society of Utah but we predict his days at the shelter are numbered based on this adorable series of adoption photos they recently posted on their Facebook page.

“With a larger than life personality, Tippy will surely make you laugh. He’s eager to show off his tricks and even has a goofy, toothy grin that could break the internet,” the society wrote on its Facebook page.

“Tippy can be a bit of an escape artist so he’ll need an extra diligent home that can keep him entertained,” shelter staffers say.

The pics had racked up 1.7k likes and 371 shares at press time. So if you’re interested in this hambone, you should get over there fast.

This coming Thanksgiving the FOX network will be airing the All-Star Dog Rescue Celebration.  All manner of dog will be available for adoption, and many celebrities have come out to help get forever homes for these dogs.

Kaley Cuoco will be hosting the event, and many other starts will be on hand, all in an effort to showcase some very worthy dogs.  The fundraiser and adopt-a-thon will take place over a two-hour television special, and information on the adoption process and where these dogs can be found.

Donation will also be possible for those that cannot adopt a dog, so everyone can contribute in different ways.  Proceeds will go to the Petfinder Foundation, and help get both foster and forever homes for dogs in need.

Last year’s gala event saw a ton of donations come in, and generated 4,500 adoption applications.  Let’s help make this year’s twice as successful!

But they needn’t have worried. On seeing this “unusual-looking” puppy, the Doblar family instantly fell in love.

Meet Lucky, the cutie formerly known as Lisa.

Her inflamed eyes and other facial scars might have made it difficult for her to find a home, but personality-wise, she was just like any other puppy.

HSSV’s Finnegan Dowling said that despite her physical challenges, Lucky was a “pretty typical wiggly, squirmy, happy puppy” and that she was very social. “She loves other dogs and toys, is ridiculously kissy and she’ll lick your nose clean off…She wasn’t hesitant or frightened or timid at all.”

One day, the Doblar family came to the shelter looking for a new dog. They’d recently lost their old pooch, and wanted a special replacement. They immediately fell in love with Lucky.

“She’s pretty funky looking [but] she just has a wonderful, sparkling personality,” Christine Doblar told The Dodo. “The fact that she was going to each of us, and [was] just as loving and exuberant with everyone she greeted…we looked at a few more dogs but nobody could compare to that.”

The Doblars decided to adopt her that very day. They renamed her Lucky — they felt that both she and they were blessed to find one another.

Since then, she’s settled in pretty well.

Lucky is also getting to know her six-year-old lab brother, Pele, who had been “kind of depressed,” according to Doblar, over the death of the family’s other dog. Now, the two are becoming friends.

It’s important to remember that even if they look funny, all creatures need love and affection. There’s also something that we can take from Lucky, says Dowling. “It doesn’t occur to her that she is different from other puppies. She doesn’t compare herself to others. Whatever caused her injuries, she holds no malice towards anyone for it.”

This 3-week-old fox cub was rescued from a car accident where he lost his mom

Ziva belongs to Werner and Angelika Schmaing, a couple living in Oberscheld, Germany that also owns a Bengal cat named Leopold and two adopted piglets. Leopold has also formed an unlikely friendship with the now-recovered fox cub. The caring dog and cat duo have made Dinozzo feel welcome, and he now uses the cat-door regularly to get in and out of the house. Despite being given free run of the surrounding area, it seems like he prefers staying with his best friends for now!

Luckily for Dinozzo, Ziva the collie and her family took him in

Though he’s free to roam, Dinozzo still feels like he’s just ‘one of the dogs’

“The fox has gotten used to getting in and out of the house through the cats door,” said his owner, Werner

He also made friends with their Bengal cat, Leopold

“Ziva and Leopold fell in love with the little fox immediately”

“Our collie acts as a foster mum for the little ones”

“The interaction of animals is very much like siblings in a family”

“They are mostly peaceful, often playful and sometimes tired – sleeping together in one place”
