Lost Dog Travels by Bus Searching for Way Back Home

This past weekend, passengers on a bus in San Juan, Argentina, met a unusual passenger – one with four legs. Commuters say the dog hopped on the bus, took a seat, and hopped off just a few bus stops later. It seemed the pet knew where he was headed.

According to Diario La Provincia, Analia Názara captured images of the dog on the bus and said no one, not even the bus driver, seemed bother by the dog’s presence. The pooch was so well mannered, he didn’t bother any of his fellow passengers either.

The images were shared on social media and thanks to that, the identity of the dog was known. Daniela Putelli commented on the shared post saying the dog’s name is Homero (Spanish for Homer) and he lives in the Aramburu neighborhood. The dog is lost and his owners have been trying to locate him and bring him back home.

Curiously, Putelli also asked the following:
“If anyone sees Homero, please help him catch the number 12, 38 or 42 bus. He knows how to get home.”

Commuters say on Monday the dog hopped the number 15 bus but a woman kicked him off and Homero seemed scared and disoriented.

Locals are now looking for the dog and hope to find him soon. On social media they’ve expressed their willingness to help the dog catch the right bus in order for him to get back home.

Lets hope Homero find his way home soon.

Bus Driver Stops Bus to Save Run Over Dog

The world is a cruel place, but there still are hundreds of people willing to restore our faith in humanity. A bus driver in Bogotá, Colombia, did just that when he stopped his bus to pick up a dog that had been run over by another vehicle. He transported the pet to the nearest vet clinic and his actions saved the dog’s life.

It was nighttime when the SITP bus driver noticed the injured pet in the middle of the road along his route. Without hesitating, the driver stopped, lowered the bus and used a piece of a box as a stretcher to pick up the dog.

The driver then placed the dog inside the bus and passengers looked after the pet until he was dropped off at a vet clinic. Thanks to this heroic bus driver, the dog is alive and well today.

As any dog lover knows, our canine companions aren’t too difficult to get excited–when you have food, at least. Without something delicious in your hands, you might have a tougher time getting their attention. This only makes this dog even more impressive and adorable. When you see what this pup is waiting for, you’ll absolutely lose it.

If I had a pup like this to come home to, I would have gone to school more. I hope these kids spend half as much time on their homework as they did teaching this dog this neat trick.
