It Looks Like This Chihuahua Is In Trouble, But The Gentle Giant Is Just Playing

Mr.Dog — Fri, 18 Sep 2015 11:20:00 +0000

A lot of people are afraid to get a small dog if they already have a big one, or vice versa…but that fear is usually without warrant. If your pup is well behaved, your chances for doggie friendship success are pretty high, no matter what size pooch you’ve got. It’s all about the personalities!

These two pups are on exact opposite sides of the size spectrum…but that’s not about to stop them from having a fun time goofing around…

If anyone’s in trouble here, it’s the mastiff. Those tiny pups are sneaky little guys! Then again, I don’t think either pooch is in danger of anything more than some nose-nudging…we’re seriously worried about cuteness overload, but that’s another thing entirely.

This Boy Has The Most Awesome Best Friend Group You’ll Ever See

Mr.Dog — Thu, 23 Jul 2015 23:20:00 +0000

Growing up as an only child can be lonely sometimes. While Julian, or Little J, as his mother likes to call him, definitely keeps himself busy with his extracurricular activities — he’s a ballet dancer and violinist — our guess is he wouldn’t call himself an only child at all. That’s because of a few very special friends he hangs out with on a daily basis…

Few Get To Ride Private Planes… But The Reason These Guys Did Will Make You Cry

Mr.Dog — Fri, 26 Jun 2015 01:00:35 +0000

How many times have you flown a private jet across the country?

If your response is something along the lines of laughter, jealousy, or even a little bit of anger towards those who enjoy this luxury often, you’re not alone. But private planes aren’t just for the rich and famous.

Not long ago, we introduced you to an incredible organization called Wings of Rescue. The group of pilots donate their time and private planes to fly rescue dogs facing terrible conditions or even death in overcrowded California animal shelters. Recently, we got to see them in action.

As the plane flew into a local airport in New York, it looked like any other small luxury jet. You’d think someone with an entourage was about to step onto the tarmac. Two pilots deplaned and the jet was soon swarming…you’ll never believe why.
It was just a normal day at SheltAir Farmingdale Airport in New York…

Planes were landing and taking off according to schedule, but this plane was special…

The pilots came out…

And the hull was opened…

Revealing precious cargo!

Aboard this private jet were 150 dogs.

All of them were rescued from possible euthanasia.

Big dogs…

And small dogs…

Even families!

Were all being given a chance at a new life!

It was clear, they were all VIPs — er, VIDs, if you will.

But who made it all possible?

North Shore Animal League of America is the world’s largest no-kill animal shelter.

On their Port Washington campus, they take in hundreds of dogs and cats every week.

These particular California beauties will be fed…

Cleaned up and medically examined.

So if you’ve already fallen in love with one of the sweeties…

The sad fact that hundreds more dogs face euthanasia every day only makes places like North Shore all that important. Not only do they rescue and adopt dogs out in the tri-state area, but they also travel around the country, working with shelters in every state. The goal is to find every animal a loving forever home.

If you want to learn more about adopting at North Shore Animal League of America, go here. You can also donate to their very worthy cause here and follow them on Facebook here!

In The Hilarious War Between Dogs And Crabs, Everyone Is A Winner

Mr.Dog — Fri, 05 Jun 2015 22:56:26 +0000

It’s hard to predict how our pups will react to meeting new creatures while tagging along with us on adventures, but there’s apparently one hilarious situation you can always count on.

Hitting the beach and coming across a curious crab in the sand seems to mess with your confused dog’s mind more than the classic ball-throwing fake out. They apparently can’t figure out the little guys’ side-walking ways and hard-shelled bodies.

When You See This Mare Running On The Beach With Her Pals, Your Heart Will Swell

Mr.Dog — Fri, 29 May 2015 00:51:44 +0000

A horseback ride along the shore on white sands is pretty much every little girl’s dream — also a lot of grown men’s dream. But would you ever think that it would be a trio of doggie siblings’ dream? In their version, though, they get to gallop alongside the majestic steed, not just ride on top of her!

It might seem like this is straight out of a dream, but it’s real life, and these best friends sure are going to sleep well tonight! They must be so tuckered out!

When These Pups Try Herding For The First Time, Things Get A Little Too Adorable

Mr.Dog — Sat, 23 May 2015 12:57:05 +0000

While eight weeks old might sound pretty young for a human to start thinking about their career goals…for a pup, it’s juuust right. These mini Australian shepherds just had their first herding lesson, and it didn’t start off so well…

Just Try Not To Smile When You See This Adorable, Snuggly Dog Family

Mr.Dog — Sat, 23 May 2015 09:47:52 +0000

When a Weimaraner named Harlow made friends with a Mini Dachshund named Sage, the world took notice. The two were inseparable and shared many happy years together, full of dreamy nap times and a good amount of kerfuffle over which toy belongs to whom. But that’s what family and friendship are all about, right?

The family has undergone a couple changes over the years, but one thing’s for sure: they’re always adorable.

It’s so clear that these pooches all genuinely care for each other. You can tell that if one of the minis were having trouble reaching a snack on the table, Harlow would lend a paw, and that Indiana and Reese would both gladly venture under the couch to fetch one of Harlow’s missing toys.

These Puppies On Swing Sets Will Make You Wish You Were A Kid Again

Mr.Dog — Sat, 02 May 2015 23:28:03 +0000

Compared to the long work days and endless errand-running of human life, we tend to think our pups are pretty pampered. But with all of that pressure on their paws from taking long walks, and the stress that comes along with waiting to be fed, even our dogs deserve to put their feet up every once in awhile. Next time you’re at the park with your pooch, why not help them take a load off and swing the day away? The pooches in the video below love it! Click play and get ready to watch the cutest thing you’ll see all day.

After They Installed A Cat Flap, Their 3 Hilarious Pooches Went Crazy For It

Mr.Dog — Thu, 26 Feb 2015 00:55:17 +0000

Everything is exciting when it’s new – even the simplest of things.

That might be why these three pups are really excited about their family’s new cat flap.

I’m not really sure what’s so exciting about it, but again, whatever makes you happy! I’ll just keep laughing along with you (never at you, of course).
