You love your pet so much that you’d do just about anything within your power for them. Lady the dog found herself in quite a bit of trouble when she was playing outside near some thin ice. Suddenly, the ice broke and she fell through. She was struggling for her life in freezing-cold water when her owner came to the rescue. Then the unthinkable happened…they fell through, too. Watch their harrowing rescue here. Thankfully everyone came out alive and well in this situation. I bet that owner is going to keep a more watchful eye on Lady from now on. Hopefully this doesn’t happen again!

It’s really painful to think about. We as humans have a responsibility to make sure that these vulnerable animals are taken care of, but some heartless people just don’t seem to understand that abusing them is completely unacceptable. That’s why it’s so depressing that this mother dog and her puppies were recently thrown in the garbage and left for dead. People heard strange noises coming from a nearby trash site, so they contacted the police. There, they found a mother dog panicking outside the trash…one of her babies had fallen in, but the others were found in a nearby shed. The police intervened, rescued the pups, and took them to a local shelter. By the next day, this puppy family was safe and sound. Mom was finally able to nurse her babies!

Loving animals can endure terrible physical abuse, while also going through traumatic emotional and psychological scarring. Animals have it particularly rough since they can’t verbally communicate what is happening to them, thus preventing them from crying for help when they really need it. Luckily, some people out there know what awful animal abusers are doing, and they can step in to help these poor creatures. This dog, for instance, was abandoned by his owners. Thankfully, Eldad and friends at Hope For Paws stepped in to help rescue him in a touching and inspiring way. https://youtu.be/l3Jqj7AJfMA If these people weren’t there for Ben, who knows what would have happened to him? Thankfully, we can just sit back and relax knowing that he is doing a lot better now!

Obviously, they aren’t going to win any Olympic medals because of it, but there’s a reason we have a swimming style called “The Doggy Paddle.” But when this giant, violent wave swept away a tiny dog, no one cared about whether or not it could swim. They just immediately began looking for where it ended up so they could rescue it. Watch what happened next:

The inside of a vehicle becomes a death trap for the living things left inside and can cause all kinds of complications with their health. Not to mention, it’s cruel and against the law; cars can reach temperatures well above 110 degrees, even with all of the windows down, in as little as 30 minutes. Good thing she was there, or who knows what could have happened!
