Returning home from vacation, this dog’s owner decided to play a funny trick on his pup. Running into the backyard before Fizz could see him, he found the perfect hiding spot under a blanket, and waited. Suddenly the big girl showed up, sensing something was afoot. She sniffed around after hearing a familiar whistle.

Could it be? Is someone here? Wandering around the patio she had an inkling that maybe, just maybe, her dad was home. That’s when she suddenly decided to give that blanket a second look…

As she looked around, the blanket looked normal enough.

Just wait ’til you see their lick-filled reunion!

In a messy explosion of love, slobber, and play, these two best friends were reunited. Could it have been more awesome? We think not.

Our pets depend on us to provide them with all the things they need to live a happy, healthy life. Well, except for this smart pup. He’s figured out how to fend for himself, thank you very much.

The German shepherd must have decided he prefers fresh water to the stuff in his bowl. That, or maybe the cutie just got tired waiting on his silly humans to refill it, so he took matters into his own paws. You have to admit, it’s pretty genius of him…

I didn’t say it was exactly sanitary…I recommend this family keep a handy bottle of Lysol by the fridge for a pre-water wipe down from now on. Something tells me this pup is hooked.

But this German shepherd takes all of that to a new level, since the tricks he can do are super impressive. The coolest part is that he doesn’t need a lot of space to show off his insane moves.

They’re subject to the same dangerous situations that their human counterparts face. Not only are they dedicated protectors of the community, you could even argue that they are the most morally diligent members of the force, since they are always doing what they know to be right and are not biased by race, gender, or age.

As Soon As They Rescued This Hostile Dog From His Chains, Something Miraculous Happened

When they found this dog, he was aggressive, territorial, and quick to lunge at anyone — including his owner. Sadly, it was not surprising considering the poor pooch had spent the majority of his life chained up and neglected in the yard.

But after patiently waiting for him to calm down, they were able to take him off his chain and transport him to a new, temporary home. They assumed the German shepherd would need rehabilitation training before he could be put up for adoption, but by the next day, it was like they were dealing with a totally different dog…

Every pet deserves a chance to feel safe and loved in their home. Hopefully this cutie never has to feel that aggressively anxious ever again.

This Dog Survived A Week In The Wilderness…His Rescue Will Make You Tear Up

A routine rescue drill for one three-year-old police dog turned into an ugly reality when the pup went missing, prompting a weeklong search. A team of six trained rescuers went looking for signs of the German Shepherd in the New Zealand wilderness for seven days and nights, while the brave pooch managed to forage for himself.
Thames was reunited with his handler, Mike Wakefield, after the team spotted some fresh paw prints in the mud. Watch the happy reunion below!

After Thames shared some salami with Wakefield, he was healthy enough to trek out of the woods and meet the press, friends, and family. He’ll get a checkup with his vet, just in case, and then he’ll have some much-deserved time off. Rest up, pup!

This German Shepherd Might Have Better Bathroom Manners Than Anyone You Know

Well, if you lived with Baron, this very clever German Shepherd, you wouldn’t have that problem!

He’s pretty much an honorary person.

Whoever thought to teach this dog how to 1) lift up the seat out of courtesy to the ladies in the building, 2) close the lid, and 3) flush the toilet when he’s all finished is a genius. But not as much of a genius as Baron himself.

7 Precious Police Puppies Are Working Hard To Protect, Serve, And Be SO Cute

A group of German Shepherd puppies in Queensland have become quite famous after being introduced to the world via an online poll. The public was asked to vote on the names of the tiny, future police pups. After they were named, people couldn’t help but see how absolutely adorable they were. And while they’re all incredibly cute, one pup in particular is getting more attention than the others.

This is Whiskey, the star of the litter.

His foster mom, Heidi Eiser, loves to post pics of him on her Instagram…

And people are eating little Whiskey’s adorableness right up.

But that’s not to say that the others aren’t equally as adorable.

But look at that FACE!

Once all of these pups are old enough, they’ll begin training to become dedicated members of the Queensland police force.

But until then…

They’ll be very busy melting hearts with their cuteness.

…And you’ll have to get in touch with their agent if you want to get in touch with them!

Keep your fingers crossed that these little pups pass their test to become part of the force! Then again, even if they don’t, I’m sure they’ll get over it very quickly and move on to enjoy a life of leisure. Seems like a win-win situation to me!
