Dog Owners Come Up With A Genius Solution To Keep Their Pup Inside The Fence

Growing up, our family’s beloved golden retriever was loyal, cuddly, and sweet. He was also prone to digging and escaping our yard at any opportunity. It was like a game to him to watch us chase after him when we noticed his sneaky ways! If only we had seen this video way back then, we would have saved ourselves a lot of time and money trying to keep him reined in.

There are plenty of high-tech gadgets you can invest in to try to keep your pooch from slipping past your yard, but it doesn’t have to be quite that complicated. Unless you have a pup who prefers hopping his way to freedom to digging, you really can’t go wrong with this simple method for impeding their breakout attempts. I’m not even talking about lining the fence with cement, like my brother tried with his persistent husky, or other ways to fortify the boundary of your home. Instead, fortify your dogs against themselves! One small trick and they’ll just have to rely on kind strangers to keep them occupied rather than terrorizing the squirrels at the park from now on.

With a lightweight, but sturdy pole secured to the harness on his back, this poor pooch just doesn’t understand why he can’t slip through the hole in his human’s fence. It should be perfectly easy to manage, but he just can’t make it work. This is such a genius, yet easy solution to a problem I know so many people share. I can’t believe I haven’t seen it before now!

Dog Owners Create Impressive Puzzle Toy To Help Stimulate Our Dogs’s Minds

All dogs need exercise. Regardless if your dog is an active one or the kind who just like to lay around, they also need some form of mental stimulation. Mental exercise has been found to be almost as critical as physical exercise.

Dog owners Michelle Moy and Billy Shih designed and created a dog toy that can mentally stimulate their beloved Corgi, Odin–they called it the Odin Puzzle.

The Odin puzzle has flaps where you can insert a treat. Your dog would need to use both his body and his brain to release the treat from the geometrically shaped toy. The geometric shape enables the puzzle toy to bounce and move unpredictably. And if you have a large dog, you can just attach two Odin toys together.
