Unfortunately, this isn’t always what happens and, more often than not, a lot of people end up mistreating dogs. Just because they can’t talk doesn’t mean they can’t feel and just because they are unable to communicate with us directly, it doesn’t mean they don’t communicate. If we actually try to listen to them, we can see them have entire conversations with us, without the need to say a word.

The dog in this video was dropped off at a high-kill shelter when he was just a puppy, he lived through neglect and, as it is incredibly common in these shelters, probably he lived through abuse as well. He had to endure terrible situations to survive, and as such he became terrified of everything and everyone.

One of these poor neglected animals is Duke. Duke has been chained for 5 years. When he was rescued, he was only 9 kilos, he was left without food and water. He was such in a deplorable condition that he can barely lift the chain he was tied with. Thankfully, there are still some kindhearted people in the world. Volunteers from the Ilioupolis Animal Welfare Union rescued him. Watch the video below and see his amazing transformation!

Duke has made an amazing transformation from a chained dying dog to a very happy friendly dog! He looks so happy and healthy now! He finally can run and play around! He finally has the love and the life that he deserve!
