Guard dog takes a break to go sledding!

All pups have a playful side to them, even if they’re professional dogs. Police dogs, for example, need to spend time goofing around when they’re not on duty just as much as any other dog does! Even service dogs, who play very important roles in a disabled person’s life, have off-duty playtime. No one can be a professional 24/7…

When this guard dog had a moment of peace and quiet in the snow, he took full advantage of the time to turn on his puppy instincts.

This sheep dog usually spends his days protecting the flock of sheep from potential predators, but when the sheep were all safe and sound in their barn or behind a protected fence, Finny was free to clock off of duty for a bit.

While he walked about the snowy hill, Finny got a genius idea. He realized that if he just flopped himself down on the ground, he could go for one really amazing ride!

Dogs are known for really loving the snow, but have you ever seen a bird that does anything like Finny before? It’s just proof that no matter what kind of being you are, there’s still the desire to have a good time. Even huge, majestic horses like to take some time to play in the snow!

Golden Retriever takes his favorite blanket everywhere

According to his owners, this Golden Retriever named Otus drags his blanket out of the bedroom, and takes it outside with him to lay on every single morning! He’s just about mastered the technique of walking without stepping on the blanket. He started doing it when they moved into their new house in March 2014. The family adopted him from the Larimer County Humane Society in April 2012. Nobody knows his age since he arrived at the Humane Society as a stray, but their veterinarian thinks he’s around 9-years-old.

Rescue Organization Takes In 700 Abandoned Dogs In Ukrainian War Zone

Because of the war in Ukraine, thousands of people evacuated and fled from their homes. But it’s not just the people who got affected by the war. Hundreds of dogs were left behind because some people were not able to bring their pets with them when they escaped the war zone.

Thankfully, there are still people who care for these abandoned dogs. In the midst of the Ukraine combat zone, there’s a place of peace where the dogs take refuge. The people of the Great Animal Rescue Chase and Harmony Fund are making sure these dogs are well-fed and taken cared of.

Not only do they feed the dogs, they have infirmary where they treat the wounded dogs too.

These dogs have nowhere else to go, and nowhere else to turn. And these wonderful people are doing everything they can for these poor homeless dogs.

This Sweet Dog Takes Care Of Orphaned Animals At The City Zoo

We’ve seen a lot of videos proving that dogs make great babysitters. And not only are they great with human kids, they make good nannies to other baby animals too! Just recently, we featured a French Bulldog who was babysitting an orphaned baby Orangutan–and they look super adorable together!

Here we have another dog who makes an excellent nanny to different animals! Everyone, meet Blakely–a dog who watches over orphaned baby animals! The staff at the Cincinnati Zoo considers Blakely as their best employee. That’s because he’s always in a good mood and always happy to help look after the baby animals who are abandoned and rejected by their mothers. In the video below, you can see Blakely caring for Dale the takin–he’s a goat-antelope animal.

St. Bernard Dog Takes Child For A Walk Across The Road

Usually, it’s the humans who walk their dogs. However, we’ve seen videos and pictures of dogs either walking themselves, or walking other dogs. But have you ever seen a video taking a human for a walk?

Well, you’re about to!

In the Czech Republic, a driver was just casually driving down the road when he saw something that he doesn’t see everyday, a Saint Bernard walking (well, dragging actually) a child and crossing the road! Luckily he was able to stop in time. Everything was caught in the car’s dashcam. Watch the video below!

Big dogs like Saint Bernards are quite a handful! They’re very strong and they’re hard to manage. So never let a child handle such a big dog!
