Soldier Gets The Warmest Welcome Home From The Dogs Who Never Forgot Him

Any time that you are away from those that you love, there’s nothing quite like that warm welcome home to make you feel good. For brave men and women that serve their country, coming home to those who missed you is a feeling like no other–whether that’s humans or animals. Dogs are great about letting you know how much they care about you, just like the sweet dogs in this video who really missed their dad!

From the moment they see him step foot on the grass, the soldier’s dogs run to be by his side, jumping happily at his feet. The larger dog of the two cannot contain his excitement upon daddy’s arrival; he even jumps up and goes in for a smooch!

Hey, stop stepping on my sunbeam, bozo! That’s…OMG! Is that mommy’s voice? It is! It’s mom, there she is! Mom’s back home, yippeeee!! Oh mom, we missed you! Daaaaaaad! Oh you’re still in the car…later!

We missed your love, hugs and daily kisses for us and we miss kissing and hugging you too! We can’t wait to go walking with you and just chillin’ here in the house. We just can’t wait to be with you and dad, we truly missed you both. You know, things just aren’t the same when both of you are gone and we weren’t really sure when you’ll be back but now that you are, we just want to show you just how much we’ve missed you guys!!!

There’s a reason dogs are commonly referred to as man’s best friend. They love humans, especially the ones who cuddle with them, feed them, and walk them. So when one of those people disappears for a long period of time, it’s a bit of a heartbreak.

But when they return home, boy is it glorious. Watch how these golden retrievers greet their mom when she comes back after being away on a long summer trip.
