‘Very good boy’ waits to be noticed after family returned him to shelter

A handsome dog, described as a “very good boy,” is waiting for someone to come and take him home after his family of the past two years returned him to a California animal shelter. The dog, a 5 to 7-year-old shepherd mix, is described as a well-rounded pooch who seems to like everyone and everything.

On March 7, a volunteer photographer wrote a Facebook post on Woodford’s behalf:

“Please keep sharing my friend Woodford. He is the sweetest boy that is kid, dog & cat friendly. He is also housebroken and knows basic commands. He is 5 years old and neutered. He is a very good boy.”

She also told the Pet Rescue Report:

He is dog, cat & kid friendly. He knows basic commands. When I asked him to sit, he gave me his paw to shake ❤️

You can help Woodford find a committed and loving family by taking a moment to share this article, with his adoption information.
