War Veteran Saves An Endangered Dog, Then Gets Arrested. Wait Until You See Why…


After seeing a helpless dog locked inside a hot car in an Athens, GA parking lot, army veteran Michael Hammons decided to take action.


“I’ve got PTSD,” he says, “I’ve seen enough death and destruction and I didn’t want anything else to happen if I could prevent it.”

Hammons says the dog was visibly in distress, panting from the intense heat. He made a decision to free the Yorkie pup by smashing the car window. Despite quite possibly responsible for saving this poor animal’s life, Hammons, because of the dog owner’s livid reaction, was charged with criminal trespassing.
