After weeks alone, homeless dog grows increasingly depressed

Weeks have passed and the toll of being alone is showing on a homeless dog named Tony. The four-year-old dog has been at the Carson Animal Services facility in Gardena, California, since December 23 and he has lost hope in the weeks that followed.

Two weeks ago, the volunteer-run Facebook page, Saving Carson Shelter Dogs, uploaded a video of sad Tony, and a few words about his increasing depression:

Handsome TONY has spent almost a month in the Shelter and it’s starting to show. He grows more depressed each day and this sweet love needs help now

Imagine being locked away – far from anything that you know and love. Imagine the confusion and sadness of being confined. This confusion, sadness and hopelessness is Tony’s very existence right now.  Tony could use the help of strangers right now – please share Tony’s adoption information.
