A couple of construction workers in Texas were going about their day when all of a sudden they heard what sounded like a tiny puppy crying. They quickly began searching the construction site for the source of the sound but came up empty — until they realized the sound was coming from above them.

HELP: This cute little fluff needs rescue asap! Only 3 yrs old dumped with a group of scared Chihuahuas on 4-3 and is still stuck there 2 MONTHS later alone and scared! AWFUL! And will soon be out of time! He’s only 12 pounds and just needs love, patience and out of a scary, noisy shelter!

He was fostered for about four months. His fosters spent a good amount of time with him, showing him love and kindness, making sure he was medically sound and neutered and doing some basic training with him. As a result of their love, Roscoe is super sweet and affectionate.

Dog shelters are incredible places — they take care of the animals that other people can’t (or won’t) care for. Although shelters have incredible staff and volunteers, they’re not the same as a forever home.
