A senior dog held at a Los Angeles County, California, animal shelter was so scared when she was taken in that she was shaking in her kennel. The 10-year-old dog, Heuera, has been at the Baldwin Park animal services facility since June 13, and she could use a helping hand to help her find a new home.
At the Nassau County Animal Services in Yulee, Florida, a seven-pound perfect little pooch waits to be adopted after losing his home. Maleek is frightened at the shelter, but seems to get along with other dogs, however would love nothing more than cuddling on the lap of someone who promises to care and love him.
At the Agoura Animal Care Center, a tiny Papillon shivered in fear after he was turned into the shelter as a “stray.” Unfortunately, too many dog owners want to avoid paying a surrender fee to the animal shelter – funds that are always needed to help support the many unwanted pets arriving at shelters through no fault of their own.
