Meet Rollo: The Food-Obsessed Dog Who Just Won’t Stop Eating! (Yes, Really)

We know that some dogs just love to eat. However, this Chocolate Labrador named Rollo loves food more than any dog ever could. His hobby is binge-eating. Rollo is obsessed with food and he just won’t stop eating.

What makes matters even worse is that Rollo doesn’t only eat food, he eats non-edible things too, such as glass and a box of cigarettes, further endangering the health of the food-obsessed lab. Rollo has somehow taught himself to open cupboards, drawers , and even the dishwasher!

And it’s not just in the kitchen that Rollo finds food to munch on. Rollo got pass the child safety gate in his owner’s greenhouse and started eating the vegetables they were growing!

Because of this, Rollo’s owners have spent more than £25000 just to dog-proof not just their kitchen but their entire home!

When Mom Asks Who Made The Mess, This Dog Is Totally Busted

You know how it is when there are more than one dog in a household, all young and full of mischief. There will always be one of them who will go overboard one day and make a mess of the house, thinking the others won’t tell on him when their folks get home from work. Too bad for Matt, he sure is out of luck with Cody and Murphy. Those two tattle tales got scared as soon as mom got in and called all three of them to ask who made the mess. They quickly ratted out Matt – I’m sure he wanted to strangle them both, haha!

Matt tried his best to make a swift and graceful exit as soon as his mom asked him if he made the mess but of course, the guilty look on his face only confirmed the obvious. Oh dear, I do hope he won’t be in the doghouse, tonight!

Meet The Dog Who Serves Customers At A Vet’s Office

I wonder what it would be like if dogs have jobs. Well actually some dogs have jobs. Some of them work at airports, some work with the police, and others are in the military. Some dogs work with the blind, and let’s not forget the very helpful therapy dogs.

But what if dogs work at the office? Or in a vet clinic? I bet that would be cute!

Well wonder no more, ‘cos there’s actually a dog who works at a vet’s office! Actually two of them are employed at this particular office. But one of them is really helpful, and he’s great at customer service! When the lady at the desk said “Printer”, he knew what to do! He took the paper from the printer, gives it to the lady, waits for the paper to get stapled, then gives it to the customer! Check out the video below!

Homeless Dog Who Lost Nose to Receive Implant

A street dog whose nose got caught in a trap will hopefully be able to smell again thanks to a doctor who designed an implant that will be embedded into his snout. In even better news, the dog has also found a forever home.

Parys, who is from Bialystok, Poland, will undergo surgery tomorrow, according to the Daily Mail.

Dr. Marcin Elgal of the Individual Medical Implants Technopark designed the tube-shaped implant after he learned of the dog’s misfortune. It is believed that the implant will restore Parys’ sense of smell, and will help surgeons reconstruct the shape of his nose, which was completely torn off in a snare.

Dogs have an olfactory bulb that is three times larger than humans. We have phenomenal vision, but dogs have us beat in scent detection. We only have about 6 million scent receptors, but dogs have between 125 million and 250 million receptors, except bloodhounds, who have closer to 300 million.

The mucus on a dog’s nose (rhinarium) helps capture scent particles and determines air current direction. Dogs sniff each other’s rears to gather the same information we do on each other’s Facebook pages – sex, age, diet, overall health, and emotional state, so the ability to smell is very important to a dog.

After his surgery, Parys will be recovering at home with his new mom, Magdalena Smosarska.

I’m sure you’ve heard the “fact” that people resemble their pets, especially if they’re dog owners. I wonder though if people are simply more inclined to buy dogs who look somewhat like them or if they do in fact morph to look like one another over the years, like a couple of lovebirds. Either way, sometimes it’s hard to disprove this idea that dog owners look like their pets and these owners will do exactly that.
