Buzz the Staffordshire Bull Terrier and his friend Glenn the Jack Russell Terrier have a really strong bond, and their friendship is stronger that some people could ever think.  Glen is blind, and Buzz plays the role as Glen’s eyes. Buzz helps Glen to find his food, stay safe, and even directs the poor blind dog to his kennel before a night’s sleep.

The good thing is that this wonderful pair were rescued, and being cared at the Stray Aid centre. The staff is really hoping to find a forever home for the two senior dogs. They will accept to have these two up for adoption under one condition: that they’re adopted by the same family. It is really difficult for these two puppies to imagine life without one another. They say that the pups become distressed when they’re apart, even for a few minutes.

The amazing part? Glenn, the Jack Russell Terrier, is blind. Buzz, the Staffordshire Bull Terrier, acts as his guide dog.

The two, who are naturally inseparable, are currently being fostered by Stray Aid in Coxhoe, Durham.

“They are inseparable,” Hannah Critchlow told ABC News. “They instantly had a bond when they came in, so we kept them together. Whenever they’re separated they start crying and barking for each other.”

ITV Network’s show called Me And My Guide Dog followed 22 puppies who are bred to become service animals, and documented their growth, development and individual journeys. In the clip below, we meet guide dog owners Mark and Claire, who live in England. Mark, who has been blind his entire life, met Claire, who lost her sight in her 20s, at training classes for each of their seeing-eye dogs, Rodd and Venice.

The lively pups sparked their own romance before inspiring the love between their owners to blossom.

“During the training, Rodd and Venice seemed to know something we didn’t. They were always playing together and nuzzling up together.” says Mark.

What happened next is absolutely beautiful. The bond between the dogs lead to a connection between Mark and Claire, and less than a year later, the couple was engaged! What’s even more incredible is the role these matchmaking pups played in the pair’s wedding. Walking the bride and groom down the aisle and acting as ring bearers on the big day, Rodd and Venice have truly been part of this beautiful love story every step of the way.

As Williams regained consciousness, he heard someone telling him to be still. Emergency workers put him on a stretcher and pulled him from the subway, and made sure the dog was not badly injured.

‘I’m feeling amazed,’ Williams said. ‘I feel that God, the powers that be, have something in store from me. They didn’t take me away this time. I’m here for a reason.’

Police said both Williams and the dog were taken to a hospital where they were expected to recover. Williams says he is not sure why he lost consciousness, but he is on insulin and other medications.

Orlando, a seriously laid-back dog, was at the hospital making new friends — and he will be rewarded with some type of special treat, Williams said, and will be given plenty of affection and scratches behind the ears.

Williams, of Brooklyn, has been blind since 1995, and Orlando is his second dog. The lab will be 11 on Jan. 5, and will be retiring soon, Williams said. His health insurance will not cover the cost of a non-working dog, so he will be looking for a good home for him.

If he had the money, Williams said, ‘I would definitely keep him.’

Angels Among Us Pet Rescue of Atlanta, Georgia rescued Denny and Drummond together back in November of 2014. Both dogs, believed to be cocker spaniel mixes, had shown signs of serious neglect and abuse, and due to an unchecked eye and skin infection, Denny was left almost totally blind.

Even in the horrific state these two were in when picked up, they were still as sweet as a dog could ever be.  One of the founding members of Angles Among Us, Karen Wallace, picked up the pair from a vet so they brought to their shelter.  Even covered in sores and rashes, under-fed and very, very scared, they were just so friemdly, and Wallace couldn’t get over how affectionate the two still were.

Over time, and with lots of love and medical attention the two were getting much better health wise.  However, it was noticed that Drummond pretty much refused to leave his best friend Denny’s side.  You couldn’t pry the two apart with a crowbar.

At first, it just seemed like a strong bond of kinship had developed between the two because of their similar backgrounds.  Upon closer inspection, it turned out Drummond somehow knew that Denny was suffering badly from cataracts and an eye infection, leaving him almost totally blind.  Drummond’s eyesight wasn’t exactly the best either, but it was enough to get the around safety, and Denny became a seeing-eye-dog

Lance White, CEO of Angels Among Us Pet Rescue, is amazed at how much the dogs go out of their way to make sure the other is alright.  He said, “(Drummond is) younger and he’s really looking out for the older one.  We just feel like they’re family. I feel like they’re family.”

It’s pretty much a given that if anyone wants to adopt either of these guys, they come as a pair.  According to White, it’s a mandatory thing that they remain together after adoption.
