These Pups Are Defying The Odds Even With Physical Obstacles. Wow.

Yesterday, we featured three superdogs who wowed everyone with their impressive canine skills! From doing flips, to jumping from on top of the roof, their skills are definitely jaw-dropping!

But it’s not just superdogs who are stealing the show. These so-called underdogs may not have the skills that superdogs have, but they have the beauty, the charisma, the strength, and the spirit to win the hearts of many. These resilient dogs have defied the odds and survived despite their physical obstacles.

First off, we have Milly–a lb. Chihuahua who fits into a teacup! Milly stands at 3.8 inches tall; she’s shorter than a soda can!

Next is Pig, the sweet 1-year-old dog who has a fused spine. Despite his spinal condition, pig is an adorable, happy, and loving dog!

Last but not least is Duncan, the two-legged Boxer! Duncan learned how to walk using his two legs, and he is one energetic and happy pup!

When One Momma Dog Saw A Forest Fire Approaching She Did Something Incredible

They say a mother will do anything to protect her children. The same goes for non-human moms, too…

When a forest fire raged through the city of Valparaíso, Chile, a mother dog was not about to wait for humans to come to the rescue. No, this momma pup took matters into her own paws and used that noodle her momma gave her to save her litter of very young pooches.

This is what they were up against.

Momma, now named Blackie, saw a metal storage container a safe distance away from the flames.

She was wise enough to dig a hole underneath it and place her nine babies safely inside.

After the flames died down, rescuers retrieved the pups from their safe haven.

Everyone seemed to be just fine, all thanks to Mom.

After locals caught wind of their amazing story…

There have been many offers to adopt both the pups and Blackie.

Who wouldn’t want to take this bundle of joy home?

That’s a face of relief if I ever saw one!

Glad everyone is accounted for!

It really is amazing to see a community come together to help a mom in need after such a devastating event. It’s especially amazing since saving those puppies was a real team effort between Blackie and the rescuers. We hope all the puppies and Blackie have safe, long, and happy lives in their new forever homes.

Mother Dog Buries Her Nine Pups To Save Them From Forest Fire

Nothing will ever compare to the love of a mother. A loving mother will do absolutely anything to protect her children. She will put herself at risk, she will even put her life in the line, just to make sure her children are safe. And that applies to the animal kingdom too. Even dogs and other animals have the same protective motherly love for their offsprings.

A mother dog in Valparaiso Chile showed how much a mother really loves her offspring when she acted on instinct and did whatever she could to save her nine puppies from a forest fire. She and her puppies were trapped in a forest fire and if it wasn’t for her quick thinking, her puppies would’ve died. What did the brave mother do? She buried her puppies to protect them.

The mother dog lead her puppies away from the fire. She found a metal container, and dug a hole under it for her puppies to take shelter. After making sure her puppies are safe, the mother dog ran away and found a place for her to take cover.

After the firefighters fought the flames, the local residents told them what happened to the mother dog and her puppies. Rescuers then searched for the dog and the puppies. They found the puppies alive and well under the metal container. The mother dog was found taking cover in a nearby burned down home. She was staying close to her puppies the whole time.

They named the mother dog Negrita. Now, she and her puppies are with an animal organization. A lot of people were so amazed by this mother dog’s heroic act that a lot of locals have come forward to give donations. Some of them were interested in adopting the family!

They Did WHAT To This Pup’s Legs?!

WHEW!!! Don’t worry, it’s not what you think! Thanks to the good folks over at Pit Bulls & Parolees, this sweet little pup, Blanche, will have a better chance at a normal life.
Blanche is a young American Bulldog and she walks on the outer sides of he paw due to the fact that her joints are still so soft and they’re buckling. Thankfully, she’s young enough that time is on her side! This vet has put vibrant colored casts on her front legs to help them grow and form accordingly. A few months from now, they can come off and she’ll be able to get around like any other dog!
For now, she has to re-learn how to walk. But you got this, Blanche!! We believe in you!
