According to El Heraldo, on the night of Jan. 25, 2016, Osorto Cruz was kidnapped and dragged to an area known as El Durazno, near Tegucigalpa, Honduras. There his life ended violently. The only witness to the horrific crime is the man’s loyal dog. He followed his owner and the criminals to the very spot where the young man’s life ended.

The next morning local police officers found the deceased and Clifford guarding the body. At first officers were not able to go near the victim but after the pet was removed, authorities were able to identify the man and remove his body from the crime scene.

There are no leads on who committed this crime. The loyal dog mourns his owner’s death and by his actions we know he misses and wishes his human would still be alive.

Matkea and her husband Butch spend most of the Canadian winters in their second home in Wickenburg, Arizona. There, the couple tend to a small stable of horses and frequently go off on 6 mile long horseback riding trips. Their dog who is high energy and loves the exercise always tags along.

On Jan. 10, the pet owner got ready to go riding along a dry river bed about 500 yards from her home and Becky-Jo jogged next to her. The trail was an usual one but Matkea’s horse got spooked and threw her onto the floor leaving her unconscious.

“We’re assuming [the horse got] spooked at something,” the woman told CBC News. “It also appears from my injuries and from the marks down in the desert that I was probably dragged for about a quarter mile, and then the stirrup ended up coming apart and that’s how I broke free.”

When Becky-Jo realized her owner was injured she rushed back home to alert Butch of the accident.

“My dog arrived home and she was acting very odd, so my husband and my neighbor jumped on the four-wheelers and she literally led them to where I was in the desert,” said Matkea.

The men found the rider lying on rocks and covered in cuts and bruises. Immediately, the woman was airlifted to an area hospital where doctors said she could have bleed out if she was left unattended on the desert a few more minutes.

Matkea was treated for a major concussion, a broken facial bone, severe facial and scalp lacerations, and a severed head artery. Today she is recovering back home while her loyal dog keeps her company. At the same time, Becky-Jo wonders when will be the next time the two of them will go out and ride horses.

Doctors says the woman will make a full recovery, but Becky-Jo will have to wait a little longer before heading out with Matkea on their next horse riding adventure.

Hospital workers don’t know the dog’s real name, but they dubbed him Pirata because no matter how hard they try to keep the dog outside hospital walls, the pooch re-enters the health center and visits the last place he saw his owner alive, room 404.

According to a local newspaper, when the pet owner died the hospital’s staff wanted the dog gone. However their feelings towards the pet changed when they realized how loyal the dog was. Now, Pirata is loved by all staff members and has been officially adopted as the hospital’s mascot.

Doctors and nurses know all Pirata wants is love and companionship, and with no owner to claim or love the dog, the only ones left to show him affection are hospital staff, patients and visitors.

The dog comes and goes as he pleases, he greets everyone and at time is even seen keeping other patients and visitors company. No one really knows where to find the dog during the day, but at night they can always find Pirata comfortably sleeping outside room 404.

Pirata, we are deeply sorry for your loss. It is comforting to know that during the most difficult time of your life, you’ve found new friends who have welcomed you with open arms.

At first, the dog seemed very scared, and didn’t want anything worse to happen.  The dog pretty much refused to leave the human’s side, so rescuers had to distract it to administer first aid.

They tried to call the dog away, but that wasn’t happening.  So, they grabbed a standard fire extinguisher, and sprayed it off in the air.  The noise got the dog to leave the man’s side, and the man was saved.

Firefighters said that the dog was never aggressive in any way towards them.  They knew the dog was scared for his human, and they understood that.  Even after they got to the man and administered first aid, the dog eventually made his way back to the man, and laid down by his side again.

The man is expected to be OK, and is in the good hands at a local hospital.  The man’s daughter was also in the home at the time, but was not badly injured and is expected to be just fine as well.  Rescue teams also took two turtles and a couple other dogs out of harm’s way as well, and all are doing just fine.

When you have a dog, you have to know that no one will love you more than your dog. Dogs are loyal and loving animals, they give unconditional love. Every day we hear about a story that proves how loving and loyal dogs are, and this is one of them.

This story happened in Brazil, in the city of Sidrolândia, at one of the hospitals, where the care staff noticed a dog that was standing in front the hospital. After investigating, they knew the truth about why the dog is sitting in front of the hospital. An older woman rushed was by an ambulance to the hospital because of her illness, and her dog was left alone in their home, but he couldn’t resist staying away of her, the dog figured out a way to track her and he arrived at the hospital.

But it doesn’t matter how the dog arrived there, what matters the most is what he did in front of the hospital. All what the dog did isWAIT! The dog didn’t wait for a day or two, he waited for more than a week, he refused to move, he stayed at the hospital door waiting for his owner to come back to him, each time the door opened, he looked inside, like he is seeing if she is able to go back home with him or not.

Shockingly, the workers admitted that his owner passed away, but the dog still believes that she is inside, and he is still waiting for her. This story is amazing, it shows how much loyal this dog is. Now the dog is living in a foster home till they can find him a new owner, but his love for his owner won’t vanish.

The video of Ramon chasing the bus was posted on YouTube by a bus passenger. The camera man spotted the pet running desperately after the bus and pawing at the public vehicle at different stops. The dog begged to be let in but the bus driver kept denying him access.

The video is approximately five minutes longs and it shows how Ramon came close to losing his life while he ran through heavy intersections and along side other vehicles. At one point, the dog can’t keep up with the bus and gets lost in the distance, but seconds later he resurfaces right along side the bus.


The man recording the event asks if the dog belongs to anyone on the bus, and after his owner is identified, passengers beg the driver to let the dog in.
Fortunately the driver agrees and the dog is reunited with his owner. The pet get a free bus ride too.
