It’s hard to imagine doing anything to intentionally harm an animal, but some people can be so cruel. A poor pittie in St. Louis, Missouri recently encountered some of the worst of humanity when she was brutally shot for no reason.

When Ronan the Alaskan Malamute was brought into The Humane Society for Tacoma & Pierce County, they weren’t sure if he was going to survive. The poor pup was suffering from terrible lesions covering his body…

“Once we had Lady Diana cleared of ticks and fleas she was OK. Thor took three vet visits and [needed to wear a cone] for a week to fix his jaw. Once the pain started to go, he [recovered] really fast and only wanted to play.”

It’s sad that even when dogs bring happiness to the world, they still aren’t safe from dangers and illnesses. Various diseases could steal away your dog’s life. That’s why proper care and vet visits are essential.

If humans fear these dogs, it was also humans’ fault. Many morally-twisted people have been using this breed for dog fighting. But, in truth, pit bulls were originally nanny dogs — a cross-breed between a boxer and a terrier.

A tiny puppy in Belecourt, North Dakota is proving to be a fighter after nearly freezing to death under a concrete porch. Rescuers with Turtle Mountain Animal Rescue found the puppy after her mama gave birth to a litter in the frigid winter conditions.

A three-legged shelter dog named Maci doesn’t understand why people continue to pass her by. She is a sweet dog who loves to run, play, and cuddle. Last August she arrived at the shelter emaciated with a badly broken leg. The vet decided to amputate the leg to give her the best chance at a normal life.
