Beth has a special system in place to achieve success, according to Fox 10 Phoenix. She uses an interactive map to place lost animals in shelters, or those picked up by other people, based on the location of lost pet flyers and missing pet ads on sites such as Craigslist and Facebook. She uses the address from the lost pet posting and enters it into her map to determine if any of the dogs found were in a nearby area when someone picked them up. She then uses details from the post to make sure it is the right pet before contacting the owners.

Beth credits her first experiences working with euthanasia at kennels as the main motivation to start her side project. She is so dedicated to reuniting pets that she often prints out lost pet ads and takes them with her to various shelters in her area to find matches, reports Hartz Ultra Guard. While she is not always successful, she has yet to make a mistake with any of the 800 matches she found. She encourages all the families who contact her not to give up until they find closure, whether their pet comes home or not. It is such an emotional thing to be reunited with a beloved pet.

Although it’s a cartoon, don’t let that fool you, it is a movie for the ages.

The movie surrounds the life of an elderly man, who just lost his lifelong best friend, his wife.

They showcase his emotional rollercoaster and give him a few sidekicks in his new adventures, one being a dog named Dug.

Dug has a collar that allows him to ‘talk’ in the movie, his comments are usually the comical parts within the moments that make you want to cry, and now Disney has decided to make Dug become real.

In this video, Dug runs around the park, in real life. And when people talk to him as they greet each other, he actually responds.

He has the type of personality that anyone would love, and I think that he makes everyone’s dream come true when they first realize he can communicate with them.

Doesn’t everyone want to be able to know what their pet is thinking? I definitely do.

It would be amazing to have your pet best friend, and companion, be able to talk to you about your day.

Or even be able to tell you what’s wrong with them when they’re feeling down. I always hate when my pup is sick and we can’t figure out what would help her best.

I guess we all should hope to be Dr. Doolittle’s, or just find a dog with a collar like Dug.

There are incredible people living among us. People who are truly selfless and have a passion for animals. Laura is one such person.

Laura who lives in Nashville, Tennessee was reading a story online about a small terrier that was hit by a car in Downey, California and left to die in the gutter when a Good Samaritan picked her up and took her to the animal shelter. Sophie was in bad shape. She had multiple pelvis fractures – she was in pain and unable to walk. Knowing that her time was limited and euthanasia was quickly becoming a reality at the understaffed and underfunded animal shelter, Laura started a mission to save her.

For days Laura called, emailed, faxed over 50 animal rescues in California pleading for assistance. Not one rescue responded. Why would they when the medical care for Sophie alone would cost thousands? Many rescues themselves are consistently overwhelmed and underfunded.

But one rescue saw Laura’s cry for help and did call back – Abandoned Terrier Rescue Association. Janet located in California went to pick up Sophie and rushed her to the Santa Margarita Animal Care Center in Rancho Santa Margarita, California. Sophie immediately went into surgery to repair her crushed pelvis.

Within weeks post-op, Sophie is not only walking – she’s running. And Janet, the woman who pulled Sophie from the shelter, fostered her, ended up being her mom too.

Eva used to be a career woman, very workaholic, always looking for more money. But then she realized, she doesn’t care about all the money in the world. Then she discovered what her true calling was–being with dogs and taking care of them.

Sadly, Yolanda and one of the dogs named Elvis, were both killed. Charles and the other two dogs, survived the accident. Charles was taken the hospital, and the dogs were taken to the emergency vet clinic by the firefighters who responded.

The dogs were taken to the North Houston Veterinary Specialists (NHVS). Although one of the dogs didn’t survive, he was taken to the vet as well to be with his companions. Since the staff didn’t know the dogs’ names, they named them Hope (whose real name is Lucy), Faith (whose real name is Judy Brown), and Angel (whose real name is Elvis)–the dog who was killed in the crash.

One of the firefighters who responded to the crash was a dog parent. He knew that with this tragedy, the family will have a lot of their plate. And since the dogs were at the vet getting treated, and probably needing more surgery, he created a GoFundMe page to help them.

The money donated to the site will cover the costs of the vet bills. Judy Brown aka Faith, had severe wounds and minor lacerations, but she is doing well.

>She has recovered and has been released from the hospital, and is now being cared for by one of the family members.

However, Lucy, aka Hope, is still in the hospital.

Suzanne Merritt, assistant manager at NHVS, told The Dodo “We have been monitoring her for a disc compression injury in her neck as she is unable to use her hind limbs. Yesterday she underwent surgery to relieve the compression. We are still monitoring her and will begin rehabilitation soon.”

It is a miracle that these two dogs survived. A big thank you to the firefighters who helped these dogs and helped the family gather funds for the vet bills.

The Milagros Perrunos dog shelter in Lima, Peru (which is a developing nation or “third world country”) specializes on rescuing and taking care of dogs who are partially paralyzed after being hit by cars. Sara Morán is the woman who is running in the shelter, and she is relying solely on donations to help these poor dogs. Sara doesn’t profit from running the shelter, and the donations that the shelter gets are spent for the dogs’ food, toys, and wheelchairs.

This shelter is doing such wonderful work. And now that the dogs have wheelchairs, they can finally run and play! Watch the video below and see these happy dogs playing at the beach!

These dogs hope to be adopted and find a loving forever home. We sure hope that there are kindhearted people out there who will give these dogs a chance at having a home and a family.

No one known will ever know what really happened to her.

What’s obvious is that she was horribly, disturbingly abused, probably for her entire life the vets say.

Weighing only 20 pounds when rescued, the two-year-old pitty mix has no nasal cavity, missing part of her upper jaw due to a past trauma and has trouble walking due to a broken back, ribs and hind legs.

In what had to be fate, Stephanie Paquin, Founder and Director of Passion 4 Pits and her husband, Mike Fleury were at the Orange County shelter picking up another dog. The shelter manager asked them if they wanted to take on a “very special dog.”

Although forewarned of her appearance and abuse, it was still overwhelming for Paquin when she first saw her.

She was also overwhelmed by Khalessi’s spirit – which was unbroken despite the horrendous horrors she had endured.

She is happy, friendly, and has a tail that just doesn’t stop wagging.

According to local reports, the dog entered the train station with his owner even though the pet was not a service dog. The companion pet accidentally fell over the edge and landed in the tracks, and because of the height of the train’s platform, the dog was unable to jump out on his own.

In a video posted on YouTube by user Ray Ramos, we can see how train security responded to the incident. The video shows a guard using a two-way radio to communicate with other train employees to secure the area. We also hear an announcement in Spanish asking commuters to not attempt a rescue and let train personnel take control of the situation. There are visible signs on the platform informing people that anyone who jumps over the tracks will be penalized, but even though steps are being taken by authorized personnel, commuters grow impatient and take matters into their own hands.

The dog’s owner, a woman dressed in red, can be seen calling her dog and trying to catch him while the pet attempts to jump out of the tracks, but a security guard asks her to step away from the edge.

A young woman on the other side of the tracks is concerned about the dog’s life. No one knows for sure if incoming trains have been stopped and all commuters fear the dog will soon die. We can hear the young woman ask if the tracks are electrified and after someone says no, she jumps in, secures the pet and lifts him out of the tracks and into safety. The woman is then helped out of the tracks by the security guard.

Everyone is relieved the pet and the heroic woman were not harmed. Many say the woman was very courageous and her actions were what saved the pet. However, the metro line is penalizing the young hero for violating the law.

The metro line says that for the safety of everyone, the woman and all other commuters had to step back and allow authorized personnel to secure the train line first and then they would attempt a rescue. However, witnesses say train authorities did not respond on time and that’s why they stepped in.

Local animal lovers are now criticizing the metro line and the legal systems for penalizing the heroic woman for doing what they were afraid to do – risk their lives for the live of a dog.

Rocky the playful terrier showed up at Coleman’s doorstep accompanied by more than 10 police officers. After Coleman’s dog was brutally attacked and killed, the officers wanted to do something nice for the senior woman. They visited the Cleveland Animal Protective League (APL) and adopted the small breed pet.

The adoption cost, as well as microchip, food, bedding and toys were paid for by the fellow officers.

Coleman said the officers did not have to replace her pet but she is more than glad to have a new four-legged companion.
